Michael Esew is an Academic Librarian with Kashim Ibrahim Library, Ahmadu Bello University Nigeria. Being an academic librarian and a specialist cum consultant in Digitization and Institutional Repository services in the library, he is well vast when it comes to issues pertaining to Information Ethics, promoting ethical access to requisite information by users. Because of his background as a specialist cum consultant on issues pertaining to Digitization and Institutional Repositories, he is engaged in the teaching of final year students of the Department of Library and Information Science Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. In 2016 Michael was selected to participate in the CPD Programme at the University of Pretoria South Africa, a programme sponsored by Carnegie Corporation, USA. He is currently a Doctoral student in India, with a major area of study in Digitization and Institutional Repositories and of course ethical issues in the management and use of Information. He has a passion to collaborate with people in the Information Profession and Indeed others from like backgrounds. Michael avails himself for opportunities and steps down knowledge gained from the opportunities to his colleagues and the academic community. He is happily married with a wife and two children
